A personalized approach to Physical Therapy

Treatment focuses on the mobilization of joints and soft tissue paired with exercises and movement correction for lasting results.

I treat general orthopedic conditions as well as specializing in pelvic health and other complex conditions such as:

  • Chronic Pain & Movement Dysfunctions

  • Pelvic Floor Rehab (both men and women)

  • Pre- and Postpartum Conditions

The Difference

  • Patient Focused

A care plan not dictated by insurance allows personal customization unique to every patient. Expect 50-minute treatment sessions one-on-one with a physical therapist versus 30 minutes or less at a typical outpatient PT clinic. We don't stop at the 30-minute window . . . we stop when the job is done.

  • Multidisciplinary

Hands-on manual therapy is a large part of the rehab process, but the movement also plays an essential role. Using Pilates and related equipment to facilitate movement correction has been shown to produce maximum results. Through PT and Pilates, along with access to other resources, we are here to help you on your path to wellness.

  • Women’s Health

With an extensive background in treating a variety of pelvic health issues, we can help those with complex conditions, including urinary incontinence, urgency/frequency, chronic pelvic pain, Interstitial Cystitis, sexual dysfunction, pre & postpartum care, constipation, tailbone pain, endometriosis, prolapse and undiagnosed groin/hip and low back pain.

  • Pilates

Movement heals. Although not every patient may need Pilates, we have found it a great tool for rehabilitating many conditions and stages of recovery. Combining physical therapy and Pilates has shown to produce lasting results (decreased pain and improved function).

Frequently Asked Questions about Physical Therapy

  • A thorough history will be taken along with a physical assessment, including posture, range of motion, strength, balance, functional tests, and joint and soft tissue mobility. A home exercise program (HEP) and care plan will also be established. Please wear clothes you can comfortably move around in during the evaluation.

  • Insurance ends up dictating how a therapist can treat, which ultimately affects patient outcomes. I want to be able to provide the best service for my patients without restrictions. This includes one-on-one care and longer treatment time spent with a therapist.

Therefore, we do not accept or process insurance, but we do take HSA (Health Savings Account) and FSA (Flexible Spending Account) card payments and can provide a superbill upon request.

  • I treat the whole person. During the initial visit & evaluation, I will assess the main issue in detail but also look globally and locally at other minor contributing issues. Depending on how complex the issue, the evaluation may span multiple visits. I am constantly reassessing and progressing the treatment as indicated. My techniques include: manual therapy (soft tissue and joint mobilization), dry needling, taping, cupping, therapeutic exercise, & neuromuscular reeducation.
